Tabasco, it's the pretiest plant to me, prolific, and not too hot to give away. Padrons have been my favorite the last 2 years. Picked before the seeds are hard then fried until soft in your favorite oil and topped with coarse salt, they're delicious. The outside is brown and tender and the inside is juicy. Eat whole. Yum. About to go harvest a mess. ;)

I am so upset that I sold all of my padrons without keeping any back for myself... I forgot. ;-( Been a sad summer.

Get a Beaver Dam, great for stuffing, Biker Billy or Jalastar (really good jalapenos, and hotter than the regular ones), Hot Portugal.

Thanks y'all. Just got birds eye, scotch bonnet , and peter peppers in the mail yesterday. About to start looking for more super hots as well. Kinda hard to find a trusted source to buy them tho.

Scgreenthumb - You might want to add some chocolates if you want super hots. Congo Brown and Chocolate Scotch Bonnet have produced best for me. Send me an email and I can share some seed.

Another suggestion: Look for Heather McDonald's seed exchange around Sept/Oct. I've received some interesting starts from her.
