"Edit post" Been Hacked!

I sent a message to Gardeweb but feel I should let you all know, just in case they don't get the message and..... hopefully someone here knows someone.

I just recently edited a response and after I clicked "preview (edited) message" I noticed that a very large code had been inserted and referenced to a specific word. This created a pop up ad for anyone that viewed the post.
I have noticed a lot of these ads on here lately and they block what I am trying to read.... Gardenweb needs to be made aware..

I run my phone in developer mode, change carxz often and clear caches regularly.... watch for it on your preview screens. Annoying little bug.

Just happened again reposting the code in quotes so ya all can see. This was Inserted to my post without my knowledge.

New feature? Never had a prob with it before.. now it blocks what I'm reading.

Well if it is a "feature" I'll prob get bounced for this. Not cool inserting code into someones message... you CAN get it out with a little work.

Thanks for the heads-up. Someone else was complaining about the popups the other day. I never see these since I run Ad Blocker and No Script in the Firefox browser. You might check to see if there are mobile versions of the same or similar popup blockers available.

I agree. Putting junk in a user post is a no-no. They want to fly pop-ups, that's there prerogative. But my message is MINE until it is published.

I constantly get these video pop ups here. They are very annoying and cover part of the page that you are trying to read.
I know that this is a GW problem. When I switch to Facebook, I never ever get a pop up. So My feeling is that GW server/system allows these pop ups to pop up.

They do indeed. Use Adblock and you won't see them any more.

I just had a pop-up ad for dragon play slots.
It's going to limit my time here for sure.
Very annoying.

Adblockplus works on IE, Firefox, Opera, Android, Safari, and Chrome. Been using it for years without a problem or the feeling that I'm missing out on anything.

I been getting a lot of them to download a game I started to post about it but then erase it thinking it was maybe just me. It's very annoying, been getting popups for dragon play slots every time I touch the screen.
