Really hard to say, Andy.
They are certainly not Ghosts...and I'd expect an elongated shape or blistery skin if a Ghost were involved in the cross.

Scorpion? I've seen folks showing alleged "cardi scorpion" that look very similar.

Thanx Josh. To this day I still have never tasted a true ghost (or anything hotter) except as a powder or pure.

I have some that look the same.The seeds were from ghosts and I know no hobs around to cross with. I think the ghost has a lot of variation in size and shape as well as being rough or smooth.In my opinion it is a ghost. I have one identical in a 5gal.Pot with 100plus peppers on it.They are brown and hot as hell

They are not even close to Bhut Jolokia.

There is very little pod variation amongst true Ghosts.

Amongst hybridized Bhuts, Nagas, and Scorpions there is a great deal of variation.

I looked at the pods closer last night. I had not notice that the pods on each plant have a very different shape. The first picture has pods that have various curves similar to what you see. The 2nd and 3rd pictures are from the same plant are much rounder. I'll have to see which are hotter when they ripen. I think the first one will be hotter

Like Josh said earlier, there's a lot of variation with hybridized/crossed Bhuts pods.

A year or two back, a lot of people were buying Bhut seeds and getting red habanero's or Caribbean Reds instead, which may be the case here. The 2nd picture almost gives me that cross-vibe, but it's probably within normal variance for Hab pod shapes though.

There's also a lot of variation in Hab scovilles, some are pretty mild, tasting below 100,000, whereas other ones are supposedly closer to 500,000.

If they taste really good, then hold onto seeds from a few different pods for next season. If the parent plant really was a hybrid, then it may show in later generations (regression).
