Bill, i can't remember if i sent you the cross or regular bhuts. But i agree with Josh. In your other pics it appears like the cross. But they looks small from the pics. The pods i've got growing from the cross this year are still growing length wise, but they are atleast as fat as a regular bhut if not bigger. Either way, they were OP so i guess anythings possible. I'll look into what i sent you

You mention that some of those pretty massive plants are having trouble fruiting. I don't see any mulch. Mulch will regulate those soil temps tremendously allowing plants that are constantly subjected to hot temps to keep producing.

You might also give the plants a shake now and then. perhaps that wet sticky air down there is playing with pollination.
