Thai Dragon Toxic to Cats?

I got a hot pepper plant mix with 6 different plants in it at the beginning of the season, and one turned out to be what I think is a Thai Dragon Pepper (grows red peppers pointing up), and I love it. I would really like to dig it out at the end of the season and move it inside as a houseplant over the winter, but I have 2 cats and one of them likes to graze on "salad". So my question is does anybody know if a Thai pepper plant would be toxic to cats?

it should be fine. pepper leaves are apparently edible (thai pepper leaves are in fact used for a certain kind of salad), though it's fair to assume that if your cats get ahold of a pepper, they'll leave the plant alone after that.
