Peppers to ID

Posted by dingos_mom (My Page) on

I have a few pepper plants that I started early this year from peppers that we were given by friends who didn't know what they were called. If anyone can Id any for me I would appreciate it. I have allready canned 14 jelly jars of peppers from my plants and I hopefully would like to be able to tell anyone that I may give a jar to what kinds are in it.

Nice plants. I'm no expert, but picture 10 looks kinda sorta like 'Lemon Drop'. Except a Google image search for that variety shows the peppers hanging down, not pointing up...

Hard to tell with the blurry pictures. Looks like the camera lens needs to be backed up a couple of extra inches to allow it to focus.

Now I'm definitely the least of the experts on this forum, so these are just guesses that someone will hopefully correct. :)
Picture 1, 8 and 11 - Sure look like Jalapenos
Picture 12 - Looks like Cerrano

:)

This forum requires the HTML standard IMG tag. The IMG tag you posted is for a specific forum software called vBulletin I think.
In photobucket Share popup it is the option "HTML for websites & blogs"
