Mirasol/Guajillo chili: Should I pick off the flowers?

I just transplanted my Mirasol/Guajilo chili in a 5 gallon container. Currently my plant is pretty small; it's about 8 inches tall and about 6 inches wide.
I noticed that some flowers are beginning to form, but since my plant isn't at its full potential should I pick off the flowers? Or should I just leave them on, since in about a month or so it's going to get pretty cool outside?
