Lemon Drop

My fav new chili this year is the Chupetinho

Good heat, but not super hot, GREAT flavor. Floral and citrus.

This time of year I find that the early fruiters such as the lemon drop have a lot of fruit but look a little ratty. Leaf drop, yellowing etc. Am I not paying enough attention or is this normal after fruiting and towards the end of its growing season?

I also tend to stop feeding this time of year. Good or bad?

Broke a bone in my foot last week and have limited mobility. Watering with my gallon jugs was a sight to see! Am I better off leaving the fruit on the plants longer or harvesting and putting in the fridge or on countertop until I can deal with it?

My poor foot.

Alison
