Hi Tim, great video, nice pod harvest. I would cut the pods in 1/2 to dry, I have found leaving them whole, they rot easily, this has been the case mostly with my Bhuts. That's a lot of flakes and powder to last you through the winter.

Funny you should say that Mark. That's what I've been doing for 2 days. I only have 1 dehydrator, so I have to dry in shifts. I cut them in half, smoke them, dry them, and then grind them.

Congratulations for your great harvest and the garden and also thanks for the wonderful video. It was a pleasure "walking" through your garden. I am a first time gardener and I planted a few bells and jalapenos. Nothing fancy. Maybe next year.

Anyways, would you mind sharing how you grew your fantastic pepper plants? I mean soil mix, fertilizing, watering, etc and any tips if you have.

I suggest you plant in pots. There are multiple advantages. You have the mobility to move them if necessary. Also, you have complete control over what they receive. I use a 5-1-1 mix. Research it, Greenman is a master. He has multiple tutorials to walk you through it. Thanks Josh. Also, listen to the advice offered. The people here are very knowledgeable. Bill, Mark, Josh, Smokemaster, Bruce, etc..... The list is too long to continue. People like Armageddon grow insane amounts of pods, so they are extremely knowledgeable. Those are the people you need to listen too.
The only other advice I can offer is listen to your plants. They will tell you what they need, There is no "ultimate" schedule you should adhere to. Look at your plants everyday. Get to know them. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it in the end.
