so i just got this jalepeno plant in the spring. it grew 2 peppers in the early summer, but now it just produces a lot of buds, it even flowers, but once the flowers fall the bud just turn yellow after a day or so and fall off.

i've tried pollinating them by shaking the plant, flicking the flowers lightly, and even using a qtip, but the same thing keeps happening. what's going on??!?! i read that it might be too hot?? i live in dallas and we have temps over 95 pretty much every day. the plant is facing west so it gets the afternoon sun. or someone suggested that i might not be fertilizing enough? or watering too much? someone help me please!! i just want more of those delicious peppers.
