Ghost Pepper leaves wrinkling while flowering

My ghost pepper has started flowering again but the leaves seem to be wrinkling. The stem is also a little brown. It is adequately watered (I over-wintered this plant) though admittedly I gave it a little extra due to the wrinkling.

I'm wondering if this is a deficiency, but I'm very wary of giving it too much fert and causing bloom drop, or whether I should just leave it and see what happens. I'm tempted to use 2-7-4 plant spikes to see if that causes any improvement. Suggestions?

minus the over watering, it looks fine to me.

    I don't see a problem, either.

The fertilizer spikes are something that most folks frown upon, however.
    I wouldn't use them.
