I grew these mostly as a curiosity pepper this year, it has turned out to be my favorite pepper. It makes great hot sauce!

Would you share your recipe?

There's also a recipe for hot jelly. I'll have to see if I can dig it up. I plan on making it soon. I too would like to have that recipe if you don't mind sharing.

I grew Beni Highlands and Limon both because they are the earliest C. chinense CCN carried, but I've had some baccatuums run circles around them as fair as being early bearers.

What do you do with hot jelly? That sounds wrong, but you know what I mean.

Lol sunnibel, did you know that south of the border Valentino's Hot Sauce is very popular on watermelon and cantaloupe?!? Try it, it's delicious. Sweet and hot go good together. I love a good spicy ceviche w/mango, ummm ummm good. ;-)

Sorry, I am WAY off topic here, but (@cjohansen) is your sauce suitable for canning? It sounds great, I'd like to make little jars and give them away to well-wishers and enemies. Is the vinegar content sufficient to avoid nasty spoilage?

I'm going to have a bunch of fatalis this year, I'll probably use them this go-round. Limons are on deck for 2014, I hear nothing but good things and I've already bought my seeds.

I actually like the taste of the hot lemon better, and its a little bigger than the limon. Both are great mild peppers. I grow one or the other this year i went with limon. So if anyone needs seeds don't buy them, i'll have tons in another month. John
