So, decided to make some roasted red pepper soup last night with some of my diablo sweets. Had a couple of overripe Smokin' Ed's and figured a little heat might enhance the mix. First year growing these guys, but you are well aware of their punch. With that in mind, I chopped up a very small portion of one, and added to the cooking recipe. Well...this is one HOT pot of soup. These things are dangerous. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but am curious. Who has used this felon in a successful manner? Sauce? Salsa? Think you'd need an entire field of sugarcane to calm this guy down...
