| Just curious of anyone has pics of their white habs? I can put some up later of my 2 plants, just about to run an errand now, though. My plants are covered, but none are white, and if I leave them on longer they just fall off. They arent bright orange like a regular hab, but a very creamsickle color, they just never get any whiter. is that how they are, or some just stay cream ornage colored, or do they really ever get white?/ Thanks katrina |

| They are a creamy white for me. Sometimes more yellowish. |

It depends on what strain/variety you are growing. They can be anywhere from yellow white to pure white.
These were pure white-from last year. |

| wow, those dont look anything like mine! Yours look great:) Mine are huge and elongated, but cream orange, so weird, I thought they didnt look anything like the whites I have seen pics of. But if I leave them on any longer, they just fall off, so im pretty sure whatever they are, they are ripe, I will post pics later or tomorrow, they are definitely habs, but not quite any color that they are suppose to be. The seeds were from bakers Creek, and I have yet to get a pack of seeds from them that didnt grow to be what they were labeled, bizarre. |

There is a golden colored hab like the whites. That plant put out the biggest white hab pods I've ever had. This year I baught a plant from the same grower and it's putting out perfectly round pure White pods. Once it cools down I'll get pics of it.Right now the plant is cooked from 100 degree temps. but has a ton of new growth.

I'm interested in seeds from your plant. E Mail me if interested in trade or SASBE. I don't see an E Mail address for you or a trade list. |

here is a pic again, I certainly must have planted orange seeds, though I dont think I had planted any because I wanted all whites chocolates etc, but there is no other explanation, I messed up my seeds somewhere, cuz they sure arent white:) |

| yes i kinnda agree with staticx in that the parent plants could have undergone a crossbreed somewhere along the way,my friend has a farm where he had both white habs that where a white color and rounded at the bottom, no orange and no point or indentation at the bottom, my guess would possibly be "TRINIDAD SCORPION",this may explain the features such as indentation, point and orange color, if thats the case there gonna be as hot as the fires of hell!! (LOL) this is just a guess thanks your friend ajijoe |

| Anyone had a hard time getting these peppers to germ? The Bhuts, scorpions, and 7 pots have all sprouted, but nothing from the white habs. Any suggestions? |

my peruvian white lightning habs sprouted in about a weeks time the peppers you mentioned are sort of critical, you should start with seeds from pods that are compleatly vine ripened if possible, this is just advice from my own personal experience, got some seeds BHUT to be exact from a friend he said they where green and left to ripen off the vine most did not germ. keep soil moist but not too wet, room temp around 70 degrees f or better and they should germ just fine thanks your friend joe |

Habs are perhaps as hard to germinate as eggplants. They need real warm soil (better than 65F) to germinate. I tried last year (outside) and it took for ever until the weather and soil got warm. Also because of late germination and growth, most fruits did not quite ripened untill it got cold in November. This year I am starting some indoor. . |
