I had to look up Cowboy Candy, and yep, it was what I kinda figured, candied jalapenos. I make them all the time, never tried with HHW before though. Be careful with the recipe you choose. I used one that said to add the jalapenos to the syrup and boil for a few more minutes. I did NOT like the texture of the jalapenos after doing that, although they didn't float in the jars. I started just pouring the syrup over the sliced jalapenos in the jars (like I do pickled), I like the texture of the jalapenos much better doing it that way. Give us a review of how HHW's do.
