There are currently 6 peppers growing, 2 of which are orange, and no new ones growing.

Yes.

As, you have already concluded , I also think that what you have is not Habanero. It is likely that it is some kind of cross.

To save seeds or not : If you like the flavor and heat level, you might want to save seeds to plant the next season. But , in case what you have is in fact a cross (F1) the next year's ones will be a F2, which can be another kind of pepper.

Some kind of annuum.....not an habañero.
