Life after frost

We had a week of unusually cold weather in early September, complete with snow, a killing frost, and cold rainy days, one of which never got out of the 30's. I picked anything red before the cold hit, and protected some pots from the frost. Things warmed up again, peaking at 85 F a few days ago. The annums weren't bothered by the cold, they just sat there and waited for warmer weather. They seem every bit as flavorful and hot as those that ripened back in August. The Ring of Fire looked like this earlier today:

The Naga was more sensitive, and ended up dropping all its leaves. The peppers continued to ripen, but I haven't tried one yet to see what kind of heat developed. Still, since I only had 3 red ones before the frost, this is a decent showing post-frost.

This is the last day of warmth for awhile, so I picked all the red Ring of Fire just now, not sure what to do about the Naga yet.
