pepper mold?

I have too many peppers and not enough time so I have a bunch in my crisper in my fridge. Today I went to make sauce with them because I noticed they were getting really soft. When I went for some I noticed that one section about 5 peppers had mold growing on them. I threw out the moldy ones and the ones around them, but do I need to discard all of them. I washed the ones that looked ok really well and I started making my sauce. They all looked ok inside and out but now I am second guessing it (spores).do you think I will be ok or should I toss the sauce?
