First frost this weekend...

We are to get our first frost this weekend. What do I do with my green Bhuts and Habs? The plants are to big to drag inside. SIGH!! Do I go ahead and pick them off? Will they turn red in the window sill? Still quite afew on the plants and don't want to lose them!!

You could cover them up on nights there is a chance of frost. Might buy you a few weeks. But, then again, you'll be in the same boat in a few weeks. :-) Picking them green sometimes they will ripen, sometimes not.

Cover them on cold nights, as Tsheets said.

I had an idea (that i haven't tried yet) because im in the same boat with my habaneros: make poppers with the green peppers. they should still have some heat to them.
