Help on chilli growing).

Hello,
I decided to experiment by planting some birds eye chilli seeds into a pot of just some plain potting mix. A few germinate a few weeks later. It is four weeks after they have germinated and they have only very small true leaves and are about an inch tall. What should I do to speed this growth?

Make sure that the surroundings are warm. You want soil temp to be around 80 degrees. And good light for 16 hours a perfect. What kind of light are you using?

If you are using fluorescent lights, the best thing to do is mix the highest spectrum which I think is 6500 and the lowest spectrum which is 2500 I think. Studies have shown that mixing them increases speed in growth. Pepper plants love that. Right now I'm using a big grow light and a led light next to each other. I think the chili's will like that. Don't fertilize till you have 4 to 6 true leaves.
