It's a while since I've been in your neighborhood but unless it's uncharacteristically cool this season I think you should be OK leaving the plants out for a bit longer.

Less daylight hours and lower temperatures will slow the plants down but they will plug along. Temps in the mid-lower 40's F / 5-7 C will inhibit/stop development. Depending on how many plants and how much room you have, you can bring them in when temps break lower overnight .

Unless you have grow lights, you're best to maximize what outdoor light you have.

In a previous season, I brought my plants in at the end of Oct. put them by the glass door in the back so they got some sunlight as I let the rest of the pods ripen. If you don't have that option you can as Bill stated pull them in at night and put them out during the day until its gets too cold.
