What kind of pepper did you think your plant was going to be?

Still not quite ripe

junglerain sells caramel bhuts... I've been tempted for the last couple of years to buy some seeds, but haven't yet. This is what it says on junglerain's site:

The Bhut Jolokia caramel is believed to be a colour variant of the Bhut Jolokia Chocolate crossed with the Bhut Jolokia Yellow resulting in a lovely rich caramel colouration, width approximately 20mm by a length of 80mm with a pimply texture. It has the heat level of a Bhut Jolokia Red but a much sweeter, fruitier flavour. Plants grow to a height of 60cms.

Lots of pods, but unfortunately they don't look like Bhut Jolokia pods (could by hybrids). The Carmel Bhut should look just like a Bhut, but with a carmel coloration.
