Overwintering bell peppers in mid-30s every night?

It's getting to be that time of the year. I have some greenhouses where I keep bromeliads, which are very hardy tropical plants. They can't freeze, but will persevere in anything above that. So the temperatures are allowed to get into the mid 30s at night, often for weeks at a time. Daytime temperatures in the unvented greenhouses can be over 100...

I may be able to fit a few bell peppers and I'm wondering how they'd do. I don't expect to grow any fruit but I'd like to get a head start for next year since the peppers take a long time to mature. Anybody try something like this? Any tips? Thanks in advance.
