My hot pepper seedlings stopped growing and are turning yellow.

I have planted three different hot pepper seedlings. I keep them by my sunniest window. Internal temperatures stay below 80deg. After I removed the weaker seedlings from each pot, the plants stopped growing. Some turned yellow and died. I put the pots outside every day for about two hours, never exposing them to temperatures higher than 90 degrees. This worked great, at first, but the seedlings have not grown more than four leaves for four weeks now. I lose another seedling every couple of days. i make sure the pots are dry before adding water. There is no evidence of mold.
