Actually, that's a normal intermediate ripeness stage of the red bhuts. After a time they will turn deep red, though I rarely wait that long to eat.

Beautiful plant and pods, BTW !!

Congrats, a nice full load of pods!
As you know, they are a hybrid of Bhut Jolokia, not actual Bhuts. Have you tried one?

White cayenne

I have a pepper from last years great seed swap that looks like a white cayenne pepper. Anyone know name if variety?

beautiful pods. I have three plants that the seed packet said it was one thing and turned out to be totally something else.

I harvested my plant they are not very hot and less flavor. The flavor is different from ghost and scorpion.
