I was just reading an article about how N and S Dakota got a record blizzard, where >70k cows may have died. and here we got our first "cold front", with highs in the low 80s and lows in the high 60s.

my heart goes out to the folks affected. but man I love the sunshine state!

Yep, the cold front hit the Dakota's and it wasn't good. I'm right next door in MN and our temps went from above normal, riding close to 80 last week, to today we will hold onto the 40's with lots of rain. I've begun picking all the peppers and will finish up Friday. Will save seed only from the ripe ones, but will use all for salsa, sauce, cooking, etc....

First frost for the twin cities is expected Sat or Sun.

Was a good run, but now reality is here.

Yep, Florida sounds good.

I wished I lived there until I lived there. Then I wanted to move. I figured that the diving would make up for the "global suburbia" feel, but they've ruined that too. [Don't get me started.]
