I thought I was done with hornworms for the year

but then I went out tonight to spray for whiteflies, and spotted 10 lil baby caterpillars. 7 of which were on my in ground brain strain (the only plant that's being particularly productive right now). after seeing the damage done by just one of them in one day, I'm glad I didn't put it off til tomorrow, or I wouldn't have had any plants left!

What did you use for said caterpillars?

Btw, in southern latitudes where we don't freeze that often, you'll always be battling pests of some type. But that's also a good thing for an IPM program --- it means that you can also have BENEFICIAL attracting plants going year round.

I used my fingers, to squish them to death. that was all I had available, since I know soap has no effect.
