Drying chiltepins

| Does anyone have any suggestions for drying tepins? |

| my opinion they dry very easy in a natural way. You can leave them on the plant to dry or just keep them separate. they dry fast. I would never use a dehydrator on them. |

| just put them on a plate and leave them in a high place in the house....like on top of fridge or a high shelf. in the kitchen is a great place, but anywhere is fine as long as there is some circulation |

| Thanks for all the advice. I'm planning on overwintering my tepins so hanging the poor guys upside won't work. I'm going to try the "putting them on a plate" technique. |

| You can put them in a basket(or colander)for better air circulation and give them a stir now and then. That's how I dried my cayennes this year. |

| I dry my tepins in a small reed basket on top of an HID luminaire. |
