Should I get rid of this pepper?

Hello, I would just like to ask if this pepper is gonna survive. The leaves are hypopigmented and there are white stuff on the undersides - maybe it's powdery mildew? The plants sprouted from my open compost bin in early August and I pretty much just neglected it. It is now about 16 inches tall. I water it every now and then. I'm not a gardener so what looks moribund in my opinion might actually be salvageable. Do I resuscitate it or just get rid of it? Thanks.

What is it? Did it produce fruit? Did you save seeds?

I compost mostly kitchen scraps - grocery bought veggies and fruits. This did not produce fruit yet but I think it's a bell pepper. I dont have much success growing plants from seed so I just wait for whatever sprouts from the compost bins and transplant them into containers. Right now I have several gourds that are about 10 inches tall. I dont know if they'll make it, several years ago I had gourds that climbed 5 feet up the trellis before they all started dying on me.
