My young bhut jolokia plant leaves are sagging bad at night and comes back up in the morning. They are about a month and 1/2 old 6in tall with about 9 leaves. No leaves are yellow or falling off. I also have 1 seedling and it's leaves go straigth up then back down. Is this normal?? Will post pic when I can.

If they are in the dark when the leaves are sagging then that's normal. As long as the plants are looking green and healthy they should be fine.

When mine were 6", their leaves sagged in daylight. One had leaves that drooped as though the plant was dead, but it survived and later thrived to my amazement.

I have observed this "behavior" in baccatums and chinense mostly. The first time I noticed this, I was also alarmed, but don't be! I don't know the physiological reason for the plants doing so, but some species will bend their young stems and leaves downward in the dark regardless of moisture conditions.

Thanx for the help. This is my first time growing anything inside or outside for that matter! Here are a few of my pic. The first one is how they look after the lights been on for about 30min. after being droopy all night. The rest of the pic are how they look during the day.
