Can you get a pic? Before treatment of any pest, one must IDENTIFY first.

If they are tiny gnats. It's more likely that they are fungus gnats. Too much water in the soil causes the right conditions for these things to thrive, let the soil dry out. Also do a search for fungus gnats on GW for treatment options.

Also as Kevin stated identify then treat.

Agreed, fungus gnats. They will now be in every potted plant in your house, except cactus. Malathion is my preferred treatment, as long as you don't plan on eating peppers from the plants in the next few weeks. Treat the soil, not the plant.

I will try to get a pic but those little buggers and post it soon. Thanks for all of your help.

I use Yellow Sticky Trap it is very good to control all these small flying insects.
