Indoor winter peppers

pinkiemarie

I have some peppers, stunted because I was sick most of the summer and didn't water them enough. They're indoors and thriving under lights but they insist on putting out buds constantly. Will they naturally stop doing this as the temperature drops (I keep the heat at about 67 and it's just now getting cold)? I normally might be excited by the prospect of fresh peppers for the new year but at this point I'd rather see them finish growing a strong root system and put out some nice branches, or at least rest for a few months. Any advice?
