I went camping in St. Augustine this weekend and on the way out of town I stopped at a nursery to see if I could find any Datil's. Not the best time of year obviously, but I was able to find a few. Most looked pretty bad, and these aren't much better but for $4 (for both) if nothing else hopefully I can get a few pods for seeds at some point. Both of these are older plants that have been severely pruned back at least once. They both have a solid trunk with bark. I potted them both in 1gal nursery pots with 5-1-1 for the "winter."
