Transplant Shock - Severe or Normal?

Hi All,

I recently transplanted my two scotch bonnets into the new garden about 2.5 weeks ago.

They had already been through a few harvests and seemed to be a bit stressed out in the pots, with the leaves starting to turn yellow. The soil is definitely healthy as I used it to germinate some other seeds (they grew fast and healthy). There appears to be some new foilage growth, but not enough to replace the leaves that are dropping.

We have gotten some sun here and there, but it has mostly rained and a lot since the transplant.

Any thoughts? Should I add fertilizer? Something to worry about or just be patient?

Thanks in advance.
