Tomato Growers Supply has a pretty good selection at reasonable prices. I have dealt with them for several years without problems.

I have ordered from Tomato Growers Supply, Tide and Terra, Superseeds (Pine Tree), and also an outfit called Felco Pruners. Also from Peppermania, Ecoseeds (very expensive though), Seedrack, etc. lol. I guess I have ordered a lot, but these comapnies all seem to be reputable and sell viable seed and a nice variety.

Stokes Seeds. I have ordered from them many times and the quality of their seeds is the best obtainable. Everything they sell is tested for germination and labeled with germination percent. Excellent cultural advice in their catalog. They also have a commercial catalog. Many varities to choose from. Also pine tree (superseeds) is very very good in terms of high germination and high quality and some hard to find types.

I know a few people who have ordered from pepperjoe. I hear germination rates are fine, but he can be pricey many times (i.e. $3.95 for 10 seeds). But if there is a variety you really want that no one else has, hey give him a shot.

seed packets that never germinated

In a post above you mention Felco Pruners. They seem to specialize in Italian varieties and have some that I don't see anywhere else.

Do you have any experience with them like realiable service, germination rates, and true-to-type information?

I have never ordered from Pepperjoe's but have seen his website and thought his prices were way too much and that some of his names seemed to be fanciful inventions for some not-so-new varieties.

Felco Pruners is very reliable, lightning quick shipping, and great germination rates! Top notch customer service. I bought some rosemary seeds that I didn't like and they replaced them ASAP. They also sent me 2 or 3 varieties at no charge due to a backorder situation. I have now ordered 3-4 times from them. Highly recommended and they don't gouge you on S/H fees either - a rarity in this business.

No, I don't work for them..lol. :)
