    Im confused...There were a lot of posts and I am a bit slow.... I can send you a SASE with a few dollars and you will send seeds of crazy and wacky peppers? what's the catch ? I have a few thai chili seeds to share but that seems lame compared to the list above......

    So, I discovered this post way too late. I do have seeds I can share, but unfortunately I see that it is too late to send them to you now, as I could never get them ready to send to you in time. Is it possible to send you an envelope and money to participate this year? If so, what exactly do I need to do...I have never participated in something like this before. If not, then hopefully I will remember to watch for this next year. :) Thank you!

    @Hot Tomato - You are correct in your assessment. Annually this forum (bunch of awesome people) hosts a Holiday Seed Swap whereby we do exactly as name says, swap seeds w/ eachother so members can share varieties w/ others. A unique feature of this is that people w/o seeds are able to participate as well. Goal is to get more people involved. So yes, if you would like to participate, send me a SASE w/ $3-$5 a/ I will mail you back seeds. No "catch."

    @Joon - Unless you were to mail them Fri/Sat then they prob wouldn't make it by Mon-Tues. However, as far as participation see above comments to Hot Tomato. Also, the "rules/guidelines" are listed as item one w/in this thread.

    Johnny, I'm hoping that Canada Post and the USPS cooperate to get my package to you before the cutoff.

    I've included 30 different varieties, including a couple not listed on your last list of varieties received.

    Tegan was the cutest and shortest (?) Companion of The Doctor. Though not nearly as lethal as Leela, Tegan was feisty and a good counterpoint to the Doctor's usually pacific nature.

    Dennis

    P.S. "shortest" not counting K-9.

    P.P.S. If you're not into Doctor Who, just be aware that there is a whole big universe out there. Several, actually.

    On labeling - I list what is noted on pack. Confirmed Guam = Guam Boonie. No clue on "Vespa Elephant." If you sent that in a/or know what it is, pls respond w/ info.

    Vesna Elephant or known as Elefant or Elephant. My original seeds I grew my plants from came from two sources - a trade here on GW and bought from Semallis Seed Company. Great company to get uncommon varieties from.
    Picture is from Semillas Peppers

    The Peter Pepper Red is already listed. On your Longggggg list, it is called Red Peter.

    I wonder. Is a 7 Pot Douglah Chocolate the same as a 7-pot Douglah or a Douglah (already listed) ?

    A very impressive list of what came in for this swap. Everyone will have some interesting stories to tell about their new peppers.

    What I always wonder is the difference between a 7Pot (makes sense, seven pots of chili) and a 7Pod. What's behind the 7Pod name?

    I can hardly wait to participate in this in years to come... Looks amazing and OMGoodness jtight, what a kick a@$ job. Props to everyone. Coming to the end of my first full year of growing some super hots and about to start germinating more than double what I did last year. Love it!!

    Putting it in the universe...... C. Pubescens would really round out my second year nicely. Love what I read about them and never see em here in nurseries. If any extras are out there keep me in mind. Will help out however I can.

    Seeds sent out Friday. I took them to the Post Office in person, and sent them out Priority Mail, just to make sure they get to you OK. Post Office said expected delivery Monday (today), tracking shows delivered to your P.O. Box early this morning! :)

    Sent 18 varieties (35 packs), over half of which (at least when I sent them) are not even on the list yet!

    These include -

    * Small Vietnamese ISO
    * Cambodian ISO
    * Purira ISO
    * Peru Yellow Limo (parent seeds direct from Peru!) ISO
    * Beni Highlands ISO
    * Purple UFO ISO
    * Aji Picante Yellow (C. Pub.) ISO
    * Caribbean Red Hab. ISO
    * Maui Purple ISO
    * Yellow 7-Pot Large ISO
    * Peter Pepper Red ISO
    * Aji Limon C. Chinese ISO
    * Chocolate Bhut ISO
    * Yellow Blush Bhut ISO
    * Zimbabwe Bird Pepper ISO
    * Tabasco ISO
    * Lemon Drop ISO
    * Yellow Bhut (original shape) ISO

    (more details on some of the more unusual listed varieties to follow shortly!)

    Sorry I couldn't send more, but I had a problem with my plants this summer, and they are just now starting to produce (I grow indoors). But all of the seeds I sent are also ISOLATED, so that should count for something! ;)

    On my wants list, I followed ajsmama's lead, and separated it into WANT, and WANT REALLY BADLY (both on the same page). That way, something that is really important to me doesn't get lost in the shuffle. My absolutely top priority items (which I indicated) are Pimenta de Neyde and CGN 21500.

    My wants also include a fair number of interesting varieties that are NOT currently on the official list. I did this because the official list hadn't been updated this past week, and just my luck, if I neglected to include things I was looking for simply because they weren't listed yet, they would of course then all show up during the last week, and I'd be kicking myself for not including any of them! LOL

    As I sent it in a Priority Mail package, instead of a mailing label, I just included a pre-addressed bubble envelope, along with cash for postage, plus something extra for your "beer" fund. ;)

    I doubt that when you took this on, you expected to be looking at over 5,000 seed packs & ~400 varieties(!), so thanks again for taking the effort to do this for all of us!

I should be able to donate next year too...I just cleaned out my greenhouse and am drying tons of pepper seeds as we speak.
