| Someone on this forum sent me this link sometime ago: http://www.g6csy.net/chile/database.html and I had it safely in my favourites. Now it's gone. Anyone has any idea where it is? It has been a very valuable tool for me. Thanks. |

| I guess it isn't around anymore. Looks like both the site and data base are history... It was around a LONG time. It was from the UK chilehead site. try These: http://petterssononline.com/habanero/peppers.php http://petterssononline.com/habanero/peppers.php Great Pics. http://www.pbase.com/chiles400 |

| northerner, You can still access an archived copy of the site using the WayBack Machine archive site. You may want to check various snapshot dates if info is missing. See link: |

| Thank you guys. Smokemster: I had found the sites you suggest but I found them a little limited. The Chileman database had more information and I've saved that. Ottawapepper: Thanks so much for the Archivedd version, did not even know that existed. Unfortunately, it seems to have lost some of its formatting, so that's a little project for me over the winter. |

| It seems to have lost a lot more than that. It claims to have over 3000 entries, and I can find only the first page. |

| DMForcier, There's more than one page. I have a great memory but it's short... I seem to recall that you're using Firefox with NoScript (yes/no?) If so, you need to Temporarily allow all this page. Then you'll see a left/right scroll bar on the bottom left of the page. Scroll right for alphabetical display options. If you're using wide open IE (unwise), the buttons are on the top left side. Send me an email if you can't get the alphabetical link option working. Bill p.s. The Wayback Machine ain't perfect BUT, it's better than nuttin ;-) |

| I found thechileman.org easy to use. |
|
| Yes, Firefox with NoScript, but that wasn't the problem. I finally found the alpha buttons. The left frame is displayed page width so that you have to scroll the frame to see the buttons. If you don't notice the little scroll bar at the bottom, it looks blank. IE 9 does not have this problem. |

| Wow, you are right! That tiny scroll bar on the bottom left is practically unnoticeable. |
|
| This database is back on line. |
|
| You mean on wayback (which was down the last time I checked), or live? AH HA! the original is back. Great! |
