The plant looks good to me, may have gotten a bit more rain than needed but once it's sunny again should be fine. I would not worry about the leaf shape they move all the time, I've watched leaf behavior at different times of the day and they slightly curl, twist, point upwords, or downwords depending on their needs from the sun. I've also noticed that c. chinese at night droop their leaves but in the morning bounce back, but if aphids are present the leaves stay drooped just an observation that I found, not sure if this is the case all the time or just with the few plants I had. Anyhow your plant looks good.

I am no expert by any means, as I have many questions myself... But I do know that peppers like to be somewhat dry before waterings, so maybe after the rains die down it may start to rejuvenate.
