Exchanging seed

Apparently the Department of Agriculture is cracking down on individuals who commit what the consider a crime.
People who save seed and share them with others are undermining our agriculture system by introducing nonviable seed and unwanted weeds into our food chain.The Department of Agriculture is cracking down on seed banks and individuals who promote non hybrid seed that hurt our farmers by lowering production and disease resistance of many crops nation wide hurting our whole farming system and threatening our national security. If this does not stop we will see major food shortages in the near future and people will be rioting in the streets.
Anyone who shares seed with anyone else should feel guilty for there part in this when the violence starts.If our government does not confiscate and destroy this non hybrid seed stock farming as we know it will be nothing but a distant memory.
Stop saving seed, You could be starving your neighbors.

as you can imagine, i have a ton of emails requesting seeds. I am working on them, every trip to the post office to mail trades or stuff to friends, i mail 4-5 frees ones. obviously, as in years past, i'm not gonna get to everyone, i just don't have the free time it would take to fill everyones requests

Bill: your calendar is different than mine here in Socal. It's DECEMBER 29th here. :P

Dave: when my neighbors start taking care of the gophers, I'll start giving them veggies again! ;)

Granted, not the same as you folks in the USA and Myanmar and Liberia. LOL

Seriously, I'm old enough that I still have to convert things between between metric and imperial measures to gauge size/volume/temperature etc.

I would figure that Canada being a former British commonwealth and metric all in one that you'd be bi-measuristic.

I have been saving seeds since 2004, the only regret is I should have started earlier. I guess I am a prime candidate for an arrest but I will be collecting, saving and exchanging my seeds until the day I croak.
