Thought I'd try a few of the seeds I'd saved to see how they would germinate. I planted 3 seeds and all three came up. This was back in early October. Now I had 3 plants that I didn't know what to do with and since they were doing so well I thought I'd try my hand at a bonchi project (and experiment with topping and pruning). These plants have been topped and the shoots pruned back. Each time I see flower buds I just keep pruning back the shoots to make them bush out. I also remove the large leaves to encourage the plant to produce small leaves instead.
