Try trading on this forum. Ive got some great varieties from trades.

I use Tradewinds Fruit when I don't trade because they are local and standard shipping takes a day. Great germination rate on everything I've got from them. But there are plenty of other good places to shop.

Here's a list of seed companies to explore. There's some interesting reading at many, but like the others say, be careful who you buy from.

Although I don't live in LA, I do have roots there. I spent many a formative year playing with gators, cottonmouths, frogs, mudbugs, etc. There was always a garden, but I was never in it lol.

Johnnys Seed Company, Rupp Seed Company, & Harris Seed Companies. They will beat others prices in most cases and they have a huge selection. If you plan on growing hot and sweet bananas try Inferno(hot) / Ethem(sweet) from Rupp they produce unbeleviable yields.

Peppermania. I just got the envelope today. This was my first time ordering from her.

I ordered chocolate scotch bonnet and chocolate fatalii seeds. I got those seeds plus a dozen red fatalii seeds and mystery grab bag that I'm insanely curious about now. I need more pots!
