| Can you guys take a look at this and tell me if it is something you've seen before and whether it is a good thing or a bad thing? Read my friend's description...pretty strange.

| Dog vomit fungus......pretty normal thing on wood mulch. Not a problem but it does look strange. |

| Slime mold is a more accurate name for it. It eats carbohydrates and bacteria, won't hurt anything, looks like it might be sporulating in the picture or near to it. |
