Using a pump chamber as a cistern?

I'm trying to find the most sensible cistern on the market and came across the idea of using a cement pump chamber. I didn't know septic tanks could be bought as separate chambers.

What I'd really like is a metal cistern but stainless steel is too expensive. And an oil tank would be fine if not for the rust problem.

Any ideas on this or other cistern types would be welcome.
