Can anyone identify what is going on with the leaves on these plants?

Need some info from you.
At the very least,
where are the plants growing:city & state; indoors or outdoors?
What are the plants?
What potting media are they in?
Fertilizer?
Water schedule?
Anything else you can think of?

were they recently taken outdoors into sunlight without properly hardening them off to such???

were they recently transplanted into dry media??

what changed into the last week or two???
