Summer oil for spider mite eggs - how many rounds of spraying?

Last summer I had a pretty heavy infestation of spider mites in my crepe myrtles. I eventually managed to contain it, but I'm worried there might be lots of eggs on the trees.

A month ago (early December) I sprayed the trees - which were almost totally leafless - with summer oil. Should that be enough? Or is it advisable to do it again?

It's been raining cats and dogs here. I'm asking because the forecast is for a dry spell next week, which could be a good time for another round of summer oil.

TIA!
