Gnats on my plants.

| I have some pepper seedlings growing indoors to get an early jump on the season that are about 1/4 inch long. They are surrounded by gnats that wont seem to go away. I dont want to use poison that can harm the young seedlings.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

| These may be the adults of the Fungus Gnat, larva of small flies that hatch and pupate in soils that are pretty moist. There are more problems with soils that are too wet than just these larva because too wet soils can also result in damping off. Take a good look at the soil these seedlings are growing in and if it feels moist to the touch it is too wet. |
