Amy, can you collect a couple, freeze them, and take a good picture? You have some very different insects in Australia, so seeing a picture that enables us to see details would be helpful.

killing off a dying population might be considered suspect on some level ... just not necessary ..

but after an ID ... then you can find out the life stage .. and act accordingly ...

e.g. if they already procreated.. and laid whatever it is they lay ... then killing them... is probably not an issue ...

but.. as noted.. you may as well be on mars.. as compared to my experience ... lol
