Hello!

I was doing some yard clean-up yesterday and noticed that all of the leafy plants in our front yard have lost nearly all of their leaves. There are three very large Euonymus bushes, as well as a dozen Nandina's and an entire row (20 ft) of hedges that all appear to be dying - or at least - losing their leaves.

The Euonymus leaves and stalks/branches, as well as the hedges, are covered in some sort of spotted black coating.

I haven't had any problems with these plants in the last 5-years that we've lived in our house. We've had an unseasonably cold/wet winter here this year, so I don't know if that could have something to do with it, or if it could be some sort of disease affecting the plants.

Any help or direction would be welcome and appreciated!
