Hello,
I'm new here. Anyway, I went into the garden this morning to find my cilantro blooms covered in adult carpet beetles. I'm not too worried about the cilantro, I've gotten used to battling bugs constantly since I moved to Texas, also everything still looks great. However, now I'm terrified that they'll get in the house. I have numerous taxidermy mounts and I'd be truly heart-broken if any damage is done to them. I don't know anything about them, today is the first time I've ever seen one. Would they leave perfectly good flowers to come inside? Could I inadvertently carry them inside on my clothing/boots or similarly, could my dog carry them in? Any advice or experience with this is much appreciated.
