Something wrong with this Lily

This bulb bloomed just fine last year, this year when the other Lilies came up I noticed ants had at one point built a small hill and then abandoned it. I dug it up to find the emerging stem swollen and twisted with brown spots. I've included pictures of both sides of the bulb.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Apart from the browning, it appears healthy. I take it that the ant nest was built above it. Maybe they damaged it somehow.

It's difficult to tell what is wrong with it at this stage. The bulbs do look like they are rotting slightly at places.
